We all know the benefits of exercise but finding the motivation to do it can be tough! Exercise is not just about looking good, it can also help you feel good. We all know that exercise can help with your mood and energy levels but it doesn’t need to be a chore. Making it fun will help you stick to the routine.

Starting the day with exercise is a great way to boost your energy levels and get the good energy flowing. But what if you’re not a morning person? No problem, even getting up just a few minutes earlier to do a few exercises will make a huge difference.
And if you really don’t have the extra time in the mornings, try doing some gentle exercises while watching TV or during commercials breaks in between episodes of your favorite show. You’ll be surprised at how much time we can find in our day if we know where to look!

1. Taking your dog for a morning walk- not only will it benefit you, but your pooch will love you for it!
2. Take a 10 minute dance YouTube class in the morning. This is a fun way to start your day and feel that adrenaline pump!
3. Take the stairs instead of the elevator. This is a great way to get your body moving- especially if you’re stuck at a desk all day. Make it a challenge and see how fast you can get up those stairs!
4. Do squats & heel raises when brushing your teeth. This is not only great for your ankle & hip mobility but your balance as well!
5. Head to your local park with your Pilates mat & do a 10 minute Pilates Youtube class! A perfect way to not only reset your sleep/awake cycle in the morning, but you’ll also get a nice hit of Vitamin D☀️
